I beg your Pardo— I never promised you an Eagles rose garden—

I have come to love Don Pardo ‘s 10-point post-game wrap-ups… Don has been following the Eagles and the EYE since forever from the Indiana prairies, so I give great credence to his observations. Here are Don’s latest “10 Things” to take away from the Eagles’ recent victory in PS2 over the striving team known as the Buffalo Bills: Don Pardo ·   Top 10 Observations from this armchair for PS Game Two: 1) McGloin still sucks arse.

Tough break–I mean, tear—for Ravens’ Kenneth Dixon and RB depth

According to Ed Lee of the Baltimore Sun, just after the Ravens officially announced the signing of running back Bobby Rainey Wednesday, head coach John Harbaugh  confirmed that running back Kenneth Dixon will sit out the entire 2017 season because of a torn meniscus in his left knee. Harbaugh announced that the injury was a full tear and that the 5-foot-10, 212-pound Dixon suffered the injury while working out recently with strength and conditioning coaches from Louisiana Tech, where he played for four years. That leaves Terrance West (Towson University, Northwestern High), Danny Woodhead , Buck Allen, Rainey and undrafted rookie Taquan Mizzell atop the depth chart at running back. Lorenzo Taliaferro, who is making the transition to fullback, could also carry the ball.

Ravens beat reporter Zrebiec breaks down the OTA roster

The Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Zrebiec has covered the Ravens beat for several years now. I like this guy’s take on the current Ravens roster. Since joining the Sunpapers as a college intern in 2000, he has covered high schools, colleges, the University of Maryland men’s basketball team, the Orioles and now the Ravens. Jeff grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Loyola Maryland in 2001.
