We all remember when Tony Romo gave that incredibly moving speech about how he was passing the torch to rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, after having previously been the team’s signal-caller since 2003. Romo said all the right things, and had fans feeling bad for him, and also having a lot of respect for Romo in the way he handled the situation. But it sure looks like he was just trying to avoid being a distraction with the season going on, and the Cowboys looking to make a playoff push.

Life is good when you’re the NBA’s reigning MVP. Warriors guard Stephen Curry was in the market for a new puppy, apparently, and he went big. Curry dropped $3,800 on a Goldendoodle puppy, according to TMZ
Roy Williams is 66 years of age, and he can dance better than I can, which I’m not even ashamed to admit. We’ve all seen his eccentric yet classy suits he can pull off wearing during games, but we don’t usually see him show much emotion on or off the court. Williams is usually cool, calm and collected.
The race for first place in the Western Conference boils down to two teams—the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs. After today, both teams will have 10 games left in the regular season, and the Warriors currently hold a 2.5 game lead over the Spurs for the top spot. The Warriors hit a bump in the road earlier in the month, dealing with their first three-game losing streak since 2013, and analysts were hitting the panic button.
Kristaps Porzingis has said what most of the sporting world knew from the beginning—the New York Knicks were never going to compete for a title this year. The odd trio of Porzingis, Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose had “bust” written all over it before the season began.
Most NFL fans know why Ray Rice is out of the NFL. The former star running back for the Baltimore Ravens was suspended indefinitely by the NFL when a video of him punching his fiancee in an elevator went public. Rice is eligible for a return to the league, but no team has fully embraced the idea.
Puerto Rico star Javier Baez’s swagger was on full display during Tuesday night’s World Baseball Classic game against Team Dominican Republic. Baez, like his teammates, was pumped up during the game, as Puerto Rico was somehow able to hold their opponent’s potent offense to only one run, and emerged with a 3-1 victory. And Baez gave viewers a show in the eighth inning, when he prematurely celebrated before an out was even recorded

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony spoke to the media after Tuesday night’s win wearing what looked to be a dead animal on his head, and social media had a field day with it. The hat was so furry that it had a glow to it. And Melo, as usual, made sure it was fashionable, and did so by pairing it with a lavish fur coat.
