Jerry and Stephen Jones are at the Spring League Meetings and he revealed a few thoughts on free agency and the Cowboys draft needs. On Free Agency, Stephen says: “Now let me be real clear, if a great offensive player shows up that’s of great value to us, that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to pick an offensive player. But our focus is on defense, and even though we lost some numbers on defense, some of them we were ready to move on from and then there are others – obviously, we replaced our corner (in free agency with Carroll)
The Cowboys have been somewhat active in free agency, and some of their moves are being considered upgrades over guys that have departed the team. That being said, the Cowboys are still in need of the “War Daddy,” someone who can affect the QB.

By: Eric Galko (QB/RB/LB), Christian Page (OL/DL) Austin Baumer (WR/DB), Derrik Klassen (WR/DB) Quarterbacks -There’s a really unexciting yet important quarterback battle between Pittsburgh’s Nathan Peterman and Iowa’s CJ Beathard. One of these two will end up as top-three round considered quarterbacks just based on recent history, and the smart money is on Peterman for now. Peterman works best on film, and did today, when he’s working on shorter routes, outside throws under 15 yards and with timing throws in the middle of the field

Contributor: Nolan Howell A definitive winner was not in the cards Saturday night in Brooklyn, but WBC super middleweight titleholder Badou Jack and IBF champion James DeGale put on a show in a great fight that went to a majority draw. DeGale controlled early with a first-round knockdown and Jack took a round or two to recover before gaining momentum. DeGale was timed on the awkward angles he landed from early and Jack seemed to connect anytime DeGale came too close.
