Phil Jackson is spectacularly disastrous as a GM. I hope he remains in control of the Knicks for a decade.
The NBA’s Eastern Conference might have a major shakeup soon. The Toronto Raptors have been a major staple of the conference for years thanks to stars such as Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, a team capable of at least giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a run for their money over a seven-game series. But the overarching theme around the Raptors isn’t hard to see—their stars are terrible in the playoffs.

We are hovering around 2 weeks until the NFL Draft and the NFL Mock Draft keeps churning out at a feverish pace. ESPN’s Todd McShay released his “GM Mock Draft” where he makes the selections as if he were the Cowboys GM. Here’s who is has and my thoughts on the picks: Round 1 (28): Quincy Wilson , CB, Florida Round 2 (60): Adam Shaheen , TE, Ashland Round 3 (92): Justin Evans , S, Texas A&M Wilson has some of the best ball skills of any defensive back in this class, totaling 14 pass breakups and six interceptions.

Every year at the end of the season I update Burning River Baseball’s top ten positional lists to reflect the most recent season’s statistics. Here’s the deal with North Carolina— as good as their players were during the regular season and down the playoff stretch, there was the constant shadow of academic cheating clouding the entire program. I don’t blame the players for opting out on going to class or not writing their own term papers as long as the administration was covering for them

Rummage through your closet and pull out the #25 Bush jersey kids, Rafael Bush is BAAACK! It might not seem like a big signing but Andrew explains why the Saints really needed a 3rd safety. Chase Daniel is returning too! WE ARE GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER! Ralph feels bad for all these NFL veterans getting HOSED in free agency. Malcolm Butler still not a Saint
The 2017 NFL draft is less than a month away. The first round takes place April 27 at Philadelphia.
I first wrote an article like this in 2014. I went 3/5, which is really good considering the nature of these bold predictions are meant to be unlikely to come true. In 2015, I went 1/5, which isn’t so good.
