A poll is therefore an informed opinion and a subsequent ordering of teams based upon this informed opinion. A ranking involves an analysis, either mathematical or statistical, based on the performance of a team and the performances of its opponents.

When a player gets to free agency without a contract, he becomes in effect plankton for teams to feed on at their convenience and their cost. The Nationals have taken this bottom feeding movement to their team building philosophy, and it’s working.

After Raw went off the air, The Rock stepped into the arena for his second non-televised appearance of the evening. Rock’s production company is making a movie about Paige and her family and were at the Staples Center last night to do some shooting for the film.

After another busy weekend of college hoops the Tournament Bubble ha’s begun to shrink. I comfortably cut 10 teams out of the bubble picture this week, leaving 27 teams battling over the last 10 spots in the field.

Bracket Projection Update: February 20
After all the talk about the boxing match between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown, who really don’t like each other, it appears that the bout is no longer going to happen. Soulja Boy took to Twitter on Monday with an important announcement, and tweeted out that the boxing match has been cancelled. Chris brown manager call my manager last night sand said the fight is off and he's not signing contract.
Last night Ryan Johansen came back to Nationwide Arena for the first time since his trade to the Nashville Predators. The trade brought Seth Jones to the Blue Jackets and it marked a trade that helped out both teams. After the game, Johansen was asked by the media about the lack of video “thank you” from the team.

Kings general manager Vlade Divac, after hearing all the criticism about the DeMarcus Cousins trade, appeared to reveal why the team made the move on Monday. The team held a press conference on Monday to officially announce the trade, and Divac delivered a statement that talked about how “culture” is important in building a winning team, and how much “character matters.” This was clearly a reference to Cousins, who has had his issues with technical fouls and erupting during games.
