Chris' reaction to the '09 World Series

Chris is a clinically insane Phillies fan who can’t separate his mood from the outcome of a Phillies game. Chris attended Rider University, where he was kicked out in the middle of his second year for getting too drunk, too often, and at too early an age. Since being kicked out he has succeeded at making nothing of himself. Chris started Long Drive in March of 2008 and has tried his hardest to maintain it since that day but has failed miserably due to not knowing what the hell he was doing. Eventually Chris started writing for The Fightins, the best damn Phillies blog on the internets, and is still contributing there while also running Long Drive. The night the Phillies clinched the ‘08 World Fucking Championship he could have been found rolling on the bar floor crying like a girl at Chickie’s and Pete’s. Unfortunately for Chris, he is stuck in the heart of Mets and Yankees territory in central NJ and often gets removed from local bars because of it.

When not obsessing over the Phillies, Chris is usually drinking, playing guitar, or tweeting about stuff you don’t care about. The main goal Chris has for every Phillies season is to try to make it out with his sanity and to make fun of the Mets as much as humanly possible. He has achieved both each season…so far.
